Hanjin Vienna back at anchor minus its containers

Hanjin Vienna now moored in Port of Vancouver taking on new cargo! Those things are too big!

The Hanjin Vienna, at anchor for 3 months, has finally left. It was an expensive tide indicator ... as it swung on its anchor in full view of the Namroc Webcam.

Any chance the webcam caught the cemetery vandals? OB Police looking for Thursday morning spray painters.

Hanjin vessel left for Vancouver for supplies and crew change, may return to sit at anchor. Huge company still in trouble.

Kudos on such an absolutely excellent website!! The webcam alone would be super but all the information you provide is so great it makes all the other weather services look pathetic.
The only thing that would make it a little better would be if the time lapse were daily. ;-)

Webcam has an Infrared Filter that automatically turns on in low light. The resulting black & white image is often very dramatic. That IR image can cut through light haze.

Very cool ... the B&W image now is of the storm. Looks just like Boundary Pass from here on Pender Island. She's blowing' hard out there!

10,000 ships per year pass close by Harling Point to rendezvous with the Pilot Boat ... where they take on, or drop off the Coastal Pilot.

Namroc gets about 3,000 visits per month. 1,600 of those on Windows machines, 1,200 on Mac/IOS and a whopping 6 on Blackberry's!

The webcam has an infrared filter that turns ON in low light. Infrared images cut through light fog and mist so the distant mountains look very dramatic when the filter is ON.
