Thanks for getting the anemometer back up and running so quickly! It’s so useful to check before launching my kayak from Gonzales Bay.

How about Lari? Gulls are seabirds of the Family Laridae and the suborder Lari. Our local gulls belong to the genus Larus, but Lari has a nicer ring to it.

A neat trick for iPhone and Android users, add a shortcut to Namroc on your home screen. Just Google "Add to Home Screen" for instructions

Love this site. I just saw what looked like a small B.C. Ferry go by. So I hopped on Vessel Finder, and found it was the Queen of Cumberland. Which for some weird reason has made my day ...

Love this site! Thank you for all the info. Might it be possible to move the description re: timing of shots towards the bottom of screen as it obscures seeing the mtns? Just wondering.... thanks.

Look closely, there’s a new seagull. The previous one has been out there, rain or shine for over 8 years. Sadly his legs gave out ..... RIP

During these trying times I will do my best to have Namroc serve up sunny weather every day. Take care and stay healthy, we will get through this!

Use your excellent site for planning my fishing; any chance you can express wind-speed in knots as well as kilometers?
    Keep up the good work!

Kudos on such an absolutely excellent website!! The webcam alone would be super but all the information you provide is so great it makes all the other weather services look pathetic.
The only thing that would make it a little better would be if the time lapse were daily. ;-)

Webcam has an Infrared Filter that automatically turns on in low light. The resulting black & white image is often very dramatic. That IR image can cut through light haze.
